Redaktum

For conferences · two ways in, one way through

The acceptance list is the middle of the work, not the end.

Run the call and the review here — submissions, blinded reviewing, decisions and letters — or keep reviewing in EasyChair and import the accepted list. Either way the rest is the same: registration and fees, payments straight into your own account, badges, QR check-in at the door, certificates anyone can verify, the book of abstracts.

§ 1the week

Five tools, one spreadsheet, and a printer that jams at 23:00.

How it goes now

  • Registrations arrive by form, payments by transfer, and somebody matches them by hand.
  • Badges are merged from a spreadsheet that is already out of date.
  • At the door nobody knows who paid for the dinner and who did not.
  • Certificates are typed one by one afterwards, and a PDF anyone can edit proves nothing.

How it goes with Redaktum

  • One participant record from registration to certificate, with the payment attached to it.
  • Badges print from the live list; the QR code carries the entitlements.
  • The door answers in one scan, and the queue at the desk stops growing.
  • Certificates issue themselves and carry a link anyone can verify.

From the call for papers to the certificate

Open the call here, or import the accepted papers as a file and start at the programme. Either way everything below refers to the same record.

REVIEW

Optional: the call and the reviewing

Submissions with a reviewer pool, bidding and conflict rules; single- or double-blind enforced on the server, not hidden on screen. Author response, area chairs, a closed reviewer discussion, then the decision letter. Accepted papers drop into the programme by themselves. Skip all of it if your review lives elsewhere.

Whoever reviews for you here is counted in the same ledger as your journals — one total per person, and one certificate of appreciation that names every journal and conference they worked on. No conference tool can see your journals; no OJS install can see this.

REGISTER

Fees that match your real rules

Early and late bands, student and member rates, extra-paper fees, accompanying persons — and your own privacy notice on the form.

PAYMENTS

Into your account, in your currency

Your own Stripe account, or bank transfer confirmed in the panel. Receipts and invoices in your name and your numbering.

DOOR

Badges, QR and entitlements

Print from the live list. One scan shows who this is, what they paid for, and whether today's lunch or a workshop seat has been used.

PROGRAMME

Rooms, parallel sessions, chairs

The programme the participants see, and the screen the staff use. Chairs score their own sessions from one link, without an account.

CERTIFICATES

Verifiable, and issued by themselves

Attendance and presentation certificates issue after check-in and carry a link anyone can check. A promotion file should not rest on an editable PDF.

SERIES

This year next to last year

An annual conference keeps its own archive: 2026 and 2027 side by side, with the same fee rules carried over.

§ 3money

The money is never ours to hold

A design decision, not a limitation. Registration fees belong to the organiser, and the shortest path is the safest one: the participant pays into your account and we never sit between you and it.

  • Your own Stripe account, or plain bank transfer
  • Receipts and invoices in your name, your numbering, your language
  • Any currency your own account supports
  • One report matches every Stripe charge to the registration it belongs to — and marks the ones nothing accounts for
  • You are the data controller; we sign the processing agreement before you sign up1

§ 5asked

What organisers ask

Do you handle abstract submission and review?

Yes, if you want it: call for papers, a reviewer pool with bidding and conflict rules, single- or double-blind reviewing enforced on the server, an author response round, area chairs, a closed reviewer discussion, then the decision and the letter. Authors, reviewers and chairs work through private links and never need an account.

And no, if you would rather not move: EasyChair, CMT and ConfTool do this well and your programme committee already knows them. Import the accepted list as a file and start at the programme. Nothing downstream changes — the same registration, badges, certificates and book of abstracts either way.

We are mid-cycle. Can we switch next year instead?

That is the usual way in. Bring this year's accepted list as a file, run the registration and the door here, and see whether the review side is worth moving afterwards. The two paths are not a fork you commit to once; a conference that imports one year can open its call here the next.

Can participants pay in euros or dollars?

In whatever currency your own payment account supports, because the payment is yours end to end. Bank transfer covers the institutions that cannot use a card.

What happens at the door if the internet is bad?

The door keeps working. A scan is written on the device first and sent when the network comes back, so the queue never waits for the wifi — and a lunch cannot be counted twice, because the device names the scan, not the server. Badges are printed beforehand from the participant list anyway.

We run a journal as well.

Then it is one account: the same organisation, the same team and roles — and a paper presented at your conference can later be invited to your journal without retyping anything. See the journal side.

Who is behind Redaktum?

Duokod Yazılım Teknoloji Limited Şirketi, a small software company in Türkiye. The conference tools were built for and used by international conferences before they became a product.

§ 6notes
  1. For participant data the organiser is the controller and Redaktum is the processor. The agreement, with the standard contractual clauses, is signed before you sign up; ask and we will send it to your legal desk.
  2. Launch pricing, charged per conference and not per participant: the band you pick sets one price for the whole event, however many people register within it. Each edition of a recurring congress is its own conference. The first three pilot conferences run free, in exchange for a case study we may publish. Organisations established in Türkiye are billed in lira at a lower local price.

Open your event and see the form your participants will see.

Enter your fees and either open your call or import the accepted papers — the registration page is live the same afternoon.
